The simplest kind — just a straight line crossing zero. 2x - 4 = 0 means a=2, b=-4.
For equations with an x² in them. x² - 3x + 2 = 0 means a=1, b=-3, c=2 — and yes, it still works even when the answer has an i in it!
Doesn't fit either shape above? No problem — type any equation as f(x) and I'll hunt down where it crosses zero.
Got two or three equations at once? Solve them all together, like x + y = 3 and x - y = 1.
Finds the slope — basically, how fast something is changing. Try x^3 - 2x, or bump up "Order" for the 2nd derivative, the 3rd, and beyond.
The reverse of a derivative — it finds the area tucked under a curve. Try sin(x) or x^2.
Turns a tricky function into a simple polynomial that behaves the same near one point — try sin(x) around center 0.
Breaks a polynomial into simpler pieces multiplied together, like x² - 5x + 6 = (x-2)(x-3).
A matrix is just a grid of numbers. Fill in A and/or B below, then tap a button — like A × B to multiply them, or det(A) for the determinant.
